New madden ratings (Madden 13)

I thought you guys might want a sortable chart broken down by position. All the numbers and letters tend to run together when looking at it all at once. The only problem is no matter what extension I try to upload it in, it tells me that it's not allowed.

Any advice?

You can already do this using the excel sheet provided by EA. Just use the sort/filter functions in your spreadsheet software.

Unless I am missing something, that sheet only allows me to expand by sorting the column of my choice. So yes I could sort by position, but then the overall grade is mixed up. I consider myself pretty savvy w/ Excel spreadsheets too being that's all we work with. Now I'm only using OpenOffice on this computer, so that may be it. But.... nevertheless, I created my own booklet w/ the positions on their own page, and then allows you to sort based on whatever row.

I don't use that program (I use google docs or excel), but usually the trick when using a quick sort button is to select a single cell or the entire table before clicking the sort button. If you select a column and then hit sort, it will only sort that column.

Also, auto-filter is an incredibly useful tool in spreadsheets. Once you have your auto-filter set up, you can use drop downs from each header cell to select what you want to display, or to sort by that column's data.

Okay, I somewhat understand Mike Peterson not having a grade as he was just signed July 23. Gary Brackett hasn't signed anywhere yet, so I get no grade on him (he should have one as he's likely to sign once injuries happen). But how the hell does Ovie Mughelli not get a rating?

Mughelli was just signed at the end of July by the Rams. So it was probably after these ratings were finalized. I expect a number of changes in the first week update.

I have noticed a few others missing. My advice is to hold onto any player that wasn't rated that you want. I assume you should be able to guess what the rating will be.

Got the game today & updated the roster through EA.
Austin Howard is a 61 & aubrayo franklin - 82.
Those were the only ones I was concerned with, but I can look up someone if you have any questions.

I need grades for Max Starks, Chris Cocker and Jim Leonhard – are they listed as FAs in the game?

After the initial update Starks is with the Steelers (78) & Leonhard is listed with Broncos (79). Not sure about Crocker. Didn't see him in the free agent pool. Is he with a team this year?
