2012 Draft Preferences
Re: 2012 Draft Preferences
With Saturday and Monday getting fairly close feedback and some mention of events on Saturday, let me throw out the thought of splitting the mixed votes down the middle for a Sunday 5/13 start. Maybe a little later like afternoon (for those with either organized or other Sunday morning activities) and just doing the first round. We could also do that at 15 min windows since a later start to get it in, so might not drag as much for those concerned there.
Any objections or thoughts about a Sunday 5/13 afternoon start?

Sunday is Mother's Day. I'm cool with drafting that day, but I'm not sure I want to start the 1st round that day to be honest.Goodell wrote:With Saturday and Monday getting fairly close feedback and some mention of events on Saturday, let me throw out the thought of splitting the mixed votes down the middle for a Sunday 5/13 start. Whatever the masses decide though, I'll find a way to kick the mother and MIL out of the house in time for the draft.

Re: 2012 Draft Preferences
I agree starting it on Sunday would be a bad bad idea...with it being mothers day i would miss the first day of the draft because won't be spending much if any time on the PC on that day.sportznut wrote:Sunday is Mother's Day. Re: 2012 Draft Preferences
My whole vote was based on starting after Mother's Day weekend. Trying to keep us married guys out of the doghouse. If that is possible anyways... Some never get out.

Re: 2012 Draft Preferences
My only preference would definitely be starting on the weekend over starting off on a Monday and running it right through middle of the week. I like most people I would think, have to work during the week and being unable to wheel and deal in real time as picks come off the board is a huge disadvantage I think for those who are unable to be around for it.

I'd agree with this 100%.RebelFan wrote:My only preference would definitely be starting on the weekend over starting off on a Monday and running it right through middle of the week. So, I think May 12th or May 19th are the best options personally.
Not Mother's Day, and not any Monday.
Just my preference.
