Players and cap limitation

I have been getting PM's in both leagues on guys who I absolutely can't trade, not because I don't want do but because it would kill me cap wise. Yet I still get messages from guys asking about these guys, and I know I am not the only one after talking with a few others. Would it be possible to insert another option on the trade status button such as "can't" due to to salary cap reasons and once it is clicked then by the players name it just says "can't"? It's just a little thing so if it's not possible that is fine.

People still make offers for guys with Not by their name, so I doubt that would stop them either.

When I used to get an offer on a "not" marked player....trade rejected with no reason or the email received goes straight to delete, no reply...that corrected the issue.

Yeah you both make very valid points. Just bugs me when they ask me about a guy that I can't move even if I wanted too.

You guys get all worked up about some of the silliest things. You know what I do when I get an offer for a player I can't or won't trade? I reject it. A trade for a player marked "not"? I reject it. I just traded for a guy marked 'not' last week, and I am very glad that I sent it along. I can see your point Tino about the idea for a new feature, but geez, how hard is it to reject a trade that (for whatever reason) isn't right for your team? I usually try to take a player's SB vs. team's cap room into account when making offers, but sometimes there just isn't time to study on each trade offer for a semester.

I like seeing other people's interest as well. On the flipside of people offering for players marked 'not', I have on a couple of occasions inquired about people who were marked as 'Available' only to be told that the team couldn't trade them due to cap issues

My whole thing is solely concerned with just adjusting and putting a "cant" by a guys name so anyone who looks at someones roster can know that the player cant be moved because there is not a way cap wise. I have done quite a few trades with guys, when they had players marked "not". May have been misleading what my point was that I wanted to get to here.
