It's definitely a little different than usual, but I think something like that might be doable since we put in specific time windows for each pick.TylerW wrote:Why can't we have round 1 on Saturday the 12th and then skip Sunday and pick up round 2 on Monday?

Definitely in favor of this. Don't have any round 1 or 2 picks and having to move that day so I won't miss my later round selections at all.

Re: 2012 Draft Preferences
So for my great idea do I get one free 1st round pick for each of my teams?

Re: 2012 Draft Preferences
I'm cool with stopping the clock on Mother's Day if that's what people want, but let me throw out a few ideas.
Have the draft board up and running (without the clock moving) on Friday evening, so we can get a jump on Saturday for those who are around.
Run 2 rounds worth of picks from 8 AM Saturday thru 10 PM Saturday AND 8 AM Sunday until noon Sunday.
If you do 15 minutes per pick, you're getting 4 picks in per hour guaranteed. For 64 picks, you'd need 16 hours total. Running 8-10 on Saturday gives you 14 hours there, and then you still have Sunday morning to fit in the rest of the second round.
This gives you an extra 4 hours of time allotted, and we can still get two rounds in during the course of the weekend, before starting up again on Monday for Round 3.
Just an idea.
