Weekly Sim Status
Weekly Sim Status
The injuries, grade updates, and update stats are all entered now. You can get to the uploaded stats by going to the score board and clicking view updates. Let me know if any problems.
I plan on running week 2 at some point tonight and then the depth charts and trades would be unfrozen by morning before being locked again on Sunday morning.

I dont know if it matters, but Michael Turner left the game with a groin injury. It doesn't say that in the updates.

Re: Weekly Sim Status
Yeah, he should be marked for in-game injury since he was out in the first half and didn't return in the second. Those are harder to catch just uploading all the stats now so thanks for the note and he's been updated. thanksDustin S. wrote:I dont know if it matters, but Michael Turner left the game with a groin injury. In this article it specifically says he could have went back in but didn't because they didnt need him. So in our sim should he actaully get injured and not come back?

Re: Weekly Sim Status
We can't go into that level of medical analysis on hundreds of individual players. The standard for in-game injury has always been they'd have to be hurt in the first half and not play in the second half and miss over half the game to be marked in-game injury. That just prevents someone from having 35 sim carries if they actually got hurt in reality and only had 10 and missed over half the game. There might be hundreds of examples in the past with some kind of gray area or arguements that a player could or could not have played. It's just a much clearer line where we've had it to avoid subjectivity or getting dueling sim doctors or this article says that but another article says something else or this coach said this and that player said that. It's just whether or not the skill position player missed over half the game or not to limit him from the sim going way over his update in a game he missed significant time due to injury. And usually the in-game injury mark may not even matter too much, as the sim works play-by-play and who gets the ball on each play depends a lot on the number of carries in the update so it works toward each guy getting theirs (with some preference toward RB1). So it'll work toward a lower carry amount no matter the player marked in-game injury or not. The time in-game injury matters would be cases where there isn't a lot of quality depth behind the player with carries in their update and if game situations leaned toward a heavy running attack (like if way ahead), in that case the in-game injury just spread the ball around to the guys who didn't miss over half the game but instead to the healthy bodies. But otherwise whether a player had low carries for injuries or other reasons it works toward that amount anyway. The in-game injury just prevents extreme cases involving players who missed most of the game to not get extreme workloads.Strategist wrote:http://football13.myfantasyleague.com/2 ... 1TheHuddle

Sorry, it's a particularly hectic week but will try to update the data (injuries/grades/updates) and push out the games tomorrow night but might be more like wednesday night this week before they are all done.

It looks like players on NFL PUP are no longer listed as OUT. For example, AFFL Arizona should have LB Gerald Hayes, CB Al Harris, and SS Atari Bigby listed as out as they are on the PUP.Goodell wrote:Grades and injuries updated. Let me know if any problems.
