You can also introduce yourself here if you wish, and we'll be sure to contact you if any teams become available. Priority for any openings will be based upon both order on the wait list, as well as promptness of reply to new openings so we don't have to wait before seeing if someone higher on the list replies weeks later.

I would like to be the AFFL Bears GM, thanks.

Both Bears spots are open and potentially another team or two before the draft as I really don't want any team unmanned through that (although would get the highest overall left on the board but no accounting for positional needs). I have several contacts about those spots (mostly from GMs with teams in a different league) but would like to first fill those with new guys without any team but interested in joining. I have at least one new guy registered who'll take one of those probably and try to sort out the rest amongst those interested. But ideally would like to fill new openings with new guys as much as possible at first and if nobody around to jump in then look at existing members and perhaps stage a competition in our traditional tie-breakers of guessing game outcomes and the closest wins. I'll update, and send PMs with any questions/comments. Thanks!

Both those spots are filled now and at least one has jumped into the action already. Also have at least another guy or two on the waiting list for new openings if they come up.

If you know of someone interested, have them register on this message board and then hopefully also post their interest briefly here so we can build a wait list order a bit and hopefully get those prospective GMs also a bit involved in things. Then we can also refer to this list for priority for new members to take first openings by who has posted here first and most responsive to new opening to get teams filled and things running smoothly.

After we go through both leagues running the free agency and upcoming draft scripts, I'll probably start another league or two later this summer (hopefully one for bloggers only and one for mostly new players recruited -- although possibly also some newer players to existing leagues) since should be much less work now with the new setup. Right now the most time involved part is keeping track of the matching announcements and compensation but will try to make that more automated also to just make your choice from your roster page prompt in the future hopefully and transform compensation in most cases automatically with me just doing the odder ones with different compensation agreements, etc. But things should be setup now to hopefully accomodate more of those who would like to participate.

Getting on the wait list here ahead of others interested will be helpful in grabbing a new opportunity when it comes up.

I have a few friends that are in the AFFL league, and they told me about the league and when i checked it out, I really wanted to be a part of it. I look at this league as being an ultimate league, and since I love football (Ravens Fan) I would like to be a part of your league. If an opening does come open I would like everyone to consider me, and hopefully I will be your competitor in the near future!

Hey Goodell, i'd like to take over any team in the CFFL league, i really just want to have a team, it could be the worst in the league, can you just put me on the list for any team that might have an opening?
