Madden 2010 Ratings

These ratings are nice and everything, but do they count ?? I signed Anthony Hargrove of the Saints and at the start of the year he was a F / 0. He has been the same all year, so basically useless. On the update just posted, it says he increased from 73 to 81. I never got the 73 rating for him.

He was probably not included on the original ratings that we based things on at the beginning of the year. Then at some point he was added to the rosters in Madden but in the update where they made that change, they didn't post a rating for him so that didn't get updated in the system here.

It's unfortunate but I've seen things go the other way with some players also - where they have a higher rating here than apparently their rating is in Madden prior to an update.

Yeah if people can find a legitimate Madden score for a player who didn't have one they can let me know that source but otherwise we can only rely upon the information they release in that manner and not always perfect information released. The best we can do is keep monitoring their information postings and keep up with those. Someone else asked about that player and he was not listed on any NFL team's madden scores nor in the free agency page found. We can't just make it up, so without it didn't have one. Once Madden puts out something with a grade for a player we pick it up.

Until the day comes we generate grades for ourselves, it has been agree upon that we go by what Madden puts out and update our player grades every time they have a communication about grades to update.

They never told us Player X is rated 73. Not on any site of player rankings or communicated updates. When they tell us Player X should be rated ____, that's when we can update it when we have the information provided to do that. They update pretty frequently during the season and we update along with them.

The latest update is out. Here are the details. A bit disappointing of an update if you ask me. Especially considering they've announced it probably will be the last until the end of the season.

Good luck with the exams. Thanks for the help this year with the grades. Here is the grade data that'll be upgraded later tonight before sim games run. Let me know if any problems spotted.
