2017 Season Update

We're off and running. Our sim week 1 has been posted.

Depth charts are unlocked. Please check your depth chart for the new season and make sure you have it set as you want it.

As always, we'll try to do our sim games as early as possible each week after the NFL games in order to keep depth charts unlocked as much as we can throughout the week to allow changes and trades in the early season. Once we get past the trade deadline in early November, that doesn't matter as much with transactions more limited for the second half of the season.

Depth charts will be locked again Sunday morning once NFL games start. HOU and CIN players will be locked in place Thursday night once that game gets going, as team cannot change their depth chart here after the fact already knowing the results of player games.

Week 4 has been simmed. Make sure to check your depth charts, especially if you make transactions. Depth charts unlocked until Sunday morning for trades and updates.

Now that we've played 4 weeks, we adjust down the pre-season grades of players no longer in the NFL. I'll be working on that this week just FYI if you see some grades drop of players no longer active in the NFL.

Week 5 is simmed. Update your depth charts and remember that once the season gets into November no more trades, so only about 3 more weeks to swap players.

Week 6 is simmed. Just 3 week of trading left. The NFL trade deadline is Oct 31, and ours is the Sunday following that (11/5) when the depth charts lock. Be sure to make any depth chart changes needed after transactions.

Week 7 is simmed. The NFL trade deadline is Oct 31, and ours is the Sunday following that (11/5) when the depth charts lock. Be sure to make any depth chart changes needed after transactions.

Week 8 is simmed. The NFL trade deadline was Oct 31, and ours is this Sunday (11/5) when the depth charts lock at 1pm ET. Be sure to make any depth chart changes needed after transactions, and get in any last trades for the season before Sunday afternoon.

Now that we're past the trade deadline, it is not as urgent for depth charts to be unlocked (I pushed hard to get done early each week primarily to allow trades). The only thing you can't do while depth charts locked now is make a depth chart position change now that the trade deadline is passed, and you can ALWAYS make depth chart changes, whether locked or not, by sending me a PM if locked. So there is nothing that cannot be done now while depth charts locked, just have to do it slightly differently via PM is locked.

As the depth chart page says while locked... Send PM to Goodell for manual changes involving players who haven't played yet this week only. You can only make or send changes for players who haven't played yet that given week where results known.

I'm also away on family vacation down in Florida this week, so that's another reason why might be late, but know you can always make depth chart changes even if we're behind any given week, just by sending me a PM as the depth chart page says when locked. Thanks!
