Roster Limit and Salary Cap

Post by JonC »

Is there a protocol in place for getting teams under the cap/under the roster limit within a certain amount of time if they don't take care of it? Without getting huffy about it, I'm mostly just curious as to whether anything concrete has ever been laid out. If not, I think that's a discussion that needs to take place this off-season. Seeing 54 man rosters and multiple teams over the cap in DFFL for multiple weeks is frustrating.

Tampa actually has a restructure left. I think he should have to use it to get back in compliance.

Start charging a draft pick & I bet people will make sure they get under.

I have already made this point earlier in the year... why are the teams that follow the rules punished here. I dropped a few players over the past two weeks that I didn't want to drop but I had to keep under the 53 man roster limit and salary. There should be some sort of price for doing this.
