All the ratings are released for players that were on teams before the lockout started. The spreadsheet I've linked to below includes all of the new ratings.
When the game is released next week there should be a pretty significant update, and hopefully those changes will be released to the public.

This spreadsheet includes all players, including 194 "free agents" that were not listed on Madden Teams initially. There are 2577 players with ratings.

Thanks for that, Ben.
The thing that always makes those initial ESPN rankings difficult is the first initial plus last name. I've updated a good deal of them, though, now of those who don't have a common/duplicate last name and first initial with anyone else in the database (over 1830). The others take a little more manual attention to ensure they go to the right person that I'll continue doing over the weekend and all will be updated before we sim games. thanks

Yeah I thought that might be a problem when I saw how they do it. Is there any way you can do a two-step query in the database to include the team and position they are listed with too? That might help with some, like Z. Miller of "Oak" vs the one from Jac, or D. Jackson the WR vs the LB.

Yeah I end up doing something like that with the others, but the way we have our multiple positions and some differences makes that not quite exact matches always but I do some replacement or filtering to try to knock out the rest. Don't want to make mistakes there so for the ones not unique I try to take a little more time to ensure the right grades going to the right individuals and not just some guy with the same last name. The position differences are also good because it'll allow me to update some of ours before the season also where appropriate.

Just a heads up Troy that you have to change Glover Quin's grade as well, because Madden has him listed as Quin Jr. while he is just Quin in our database.

Here's the update for before week 1:
http://benjaminclarkphotography.com/foo ... 1_wk01.xls
After taking out all the jersey and transactional changes, only like 30 guys on it got ratings changes and most are pretty low roster guys, but higher rated guys that will affect some rosters (such as Deuce Lutui who's drop will probably drop my OL score by 0.1).
The good news is it seems like they will be releasing the updates with first and last names like they did last year so it should be easier here on out for you.

Are you sure Wayne Hunter, OL NYJ is correct? The week 2 spreadsheet says he decreased from 77 to 74, but he is currently a 72 on my roster which agrees with the prelockout original Madden Roster.
Just checking because if you check the original spreadsheet you link he is listed as a 72. He is also not included in the week 1 update, so I am not sure when he got to a 77.
Thanks
