Need Help Finding Something
Need Help Finding Something
I'm looking for the list of the top players... what would franchising/transitioning at each position cost? I can't find last year's list, and was just looking to get an idea.
Re: Need Help Finding Something

Re: Need Help Finding Something
I know the rule is that a franchise player is guaranteed the average of the top 5 highest paid players' salaries & a transition player is the average of the top 10. I don't know if we use RL or what players in the sim are making.

We use the figures published each year from real salaries.RyanM wrote:I know the rule is that a franchise player is guaranteed the average of the top 5 highest paid players' salaries & a transition player is the average of the top 10. I don't know if we use RL or what players in the sim are making.

Re: Need Help Finding Something
I think we need a vote to see if everyone would like to change it to what the sim players make, we have a different market here, and I think it should show up in our franchise players.

Re: Need Help Finding Something
That would be very interesting to do. Not sure how much work it would take to find what are sim players make compared to in real life. If it was easy to do then I would vote that we use the sim players salaries for the franchise and transition tags.Royce R wrote:I think we need a vote to see if everyone would like to change it to what the sim players make, we have a different market here, and I think it should show up in our franchise players.

Re: Need Help Finding Something
I agree there's a different market, but I think we're pretty close. I think it'd be a lot more work, but wouldn't make a big change.
Re: Need Help Finding Something
I wondered about that during the DFFL free agency, but never asked I guess. It is a good idea though, if it were relatively easy to do.
