BUF/CIN Sim Game

Now that we know a little more about the NFL's decisions on the BUF/CIN cancelled game, doing a poll here to get quick reactions on whether or not we treat it entirely like a bye week (as we will be doing with players from those NFL teams for simulated games here) or sim that matchup since we don't have those unfortunate realities and a simulated different environment here with different players on those sim rosters.
Hopefully Damar Hamlin continues to improve.
For us, I'm open to great ideas and popular conclusions. This won't be entirely a democratic decision and will be made quickly especially if early response is strongly one way or another. Just want to get a little more feedback.
In some ways it's simpler and cleaner to go entirely like a bye week (for teams and players) that we're used to doing. Two teams would just have played one fewer game. If playoffs involved, percentages would be used and we'd look at what the NFL decides on that for any other considerations that make sense.
In other ways there are less issues with us simming that matchup and avoiding some of the concerns the NFL is discussing with fairness/seeding/etc. and we'd end up with a regular regular season with all teams playing the same amount of games.
Either way, players on CIN/BUF in reality will have averaged game stats like a bye week. The question is just if we follow the NFL in cancelling that game too and keeping with their schedule (even if it ended with two teams playing one less game in reality) or if we just sim that game so every team plays the full regular schedule.
