We do not have perfect information, as we aren't EA Sports. The only thing we have access to is grade information they put into the public domain. Thanks to those helping to try to ensure we know when they post grade update information. As mentioned, they didn't publish their week 1 updates. I was starting to worry if they would publish less information this year, in which case we'd have to think about alternate plans for grade updates if they were no longer going to be public. However, someone posted a Week 2 grade update information, so hopefully that continues. But we can only use publically posted information for grades.

Yeah, no problem. Sorry if I sounded frustrated also, as the grades frustrate me sometimes. I don't have all the info and can only use what we have available in the public domain, so that's no always perfect information. We just have to live with those imperfections while using this grade method until some day we use something different possibly down the road. Until that time, thankful to those on the lookout for new public updates posted so we can integrate them into our systems also. We'll use the recently posted spreadsheet in this thread for updates prior to week 2, and hopefully more grade updates coming ahead each week as has been the case in recent seasons.

Sounds good. I'm super excited to see Ihenacho is 20 higher than I thought he was.

Troy,

Just asking for knowledge here. Do you have it set up to automatically add grades? I'm asking because Eric Winston (I have in CFFL) is in the week 1 update as an 86 (actually went down 2). But, he didn't have a grade for week 1 (because he didn't sign until the first part of August).

Just curious.

No, there isn't anything automatic as we aren't a part of them. All we can do is look for public published information in the public domain (usually posted from their website in recent years) and incorporate it into our system manually. There was no week 1 information published that I saw and came across other blog postings stating they hadn't posted any details publically yet. There seems to be a week 2 spreadsheet though that we'll incorporate.

Thanks. Those after week 1 grade updates should be updated in the system now heading into week 2.

Lots of notes sent to me and comments here about missing grades. Understandably. As mentioned there wasn't an official post that I could locate or anyone else posted here related to week 1 grade updates, so many were missing still from what we had seen published.

Today someone pointed me to a list of week 1 upgrades that seems to lineup with many of the +/- changes for week 2 that I spot checked. http://playerratingspro.com/madden-25-w ... er-updates

I'd prefer not to rely upon other resources, but we're not getting the same types of official posts on updates as before. As that info was matching up in the examples I was checking between the original and week 2 updates, I've started incorporating those also for missing grades for active players. That should get a lot of the higher graded players who make a difference but were still without grades but shouldn't be since they are on an active roster in NFL now.

Hopefully we get similar weekly grade updates posted as we have in the past ahead. But thanks to those helping track down grade information as we try to stay updated and ensure active players have their rankings fairly.
