Sounds good.

Why is it that the draft clock has been most of the time more than the posted time?

sometimes its 30min or more and then other times its the correct time its been like this the whole draft
EFFL- Baltimore Ravens overall record 11-6
2023 11-6 WC

CFFL- Detroit Lions overall record 5-29
2023 3-14
2022 2-15

CFFL - ST.Louis Rams: Overall record 59-85
2012 -220 WC 2017 DC 2020

It's based on already set time slot. So if your time slot is from 1:15 - 1:30, but the guy before you picks at 1:00, then you have 30 mins to make your pick. Time slots don't change just because someone drafts early.

Yeah, and also on the other side for a pick if it ended up being posted later... like free agency the system doesn't trigger itself to check if time for a pick or if it's been past 24 hours for a free agent signing. The trigger to check the time is set off by a GM in that league going to the draft tool or clicking on a player's name in free agency.

Yeah, for each pick when it is due has nothing to do with the picks before it. Each pick has a set time window and exact time due that won't change. If you read that your pick is due at 1:00 ET on a Friday, no matter what happens in the draft even if everyone else is online and makes their picks within seconds of each other, you can count on your pick not being due until that time set in stone. That way GMs can schedule the draft around their lives and don't have to be on 24/7 not sure when their pick will be due if we have a run on quick picks. We used to do it differently long ago for the very first drafts, but the majority wanted to switch to set pick windows that wouldn't change so they could know they won't miss their pick so long as they check in 15 minutes before the time due.
