Working on LTCs, hope to have those available here soon. Just FYI... lots of excitement here, but nothing could be more fun than football simulation programming, right?

Yeah, I'm at a National Association of Broadcasters conference this week (from monday thru tomorrow night). Cool gadgets on display and listened to some filmmakers on their creative processes and tools. Got out and about a little, but actually kind of looked forward to quiet nights here to knock out some work without the interuptions. Not into partying or losing my mortgage payment in the slots, and I'll be back out here late next week for an education conference so will get lots of vegas this month. Yeah, staying at the Excalibur as part of a package deal. Nothing fancy but it works okay for good views while typing.

Teams should now be able to enter LTCs by clicking the link on your team roster (near the top).

Remember, only 1 LTC per team per year. Eligible players are those entering free agency (up until we start our free agency) and those on their last year under contract. A player will be paid the average of top 10 guys at his same position around his same grade. This is different from tagging as the salary isn't top 5 in the NFL overall, but based upon what similar players should be making. With longer LTC higher SB. With short LTC (2- and 3-year), there is a no-trade clause for one year.

Sign carefully. No short LTC with no-trade and then later deciding you want to really trade him afterall months later and trying to change it then.

I think there should be a distinguishment between MLB and OLB on LTCs. OLBs drive the price way up.

There should only be a difference if there is a difference in the sim. On the OL you have to have 2 tackles, 2 guards and a center. In the front seven you only need to have 3 LB of any type. So the price shouldn't be any different for the different sub positions.

However, I'd be in favor of requiring 2 OLB and 1 MLB.
