Honestly can't say I'm surprised he retired. He is a great quarterback and in my opinion he will be a first ballot hall of famer!

His football career and story is truly inspiring.

With that said I don't think he should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was a good QB, not a great one imho.

He will be missed, he was a great QB. Now if only Favre could do the same!

There are a bunch of players better than him that didnt get in on first ballot. I say he is borderline HOFer but then again if Namath is in, Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer should be in!!!
I can see him getting in though. He could certainly chuck the pigskin.

Warner is much more than a borderline HOF.

He has the best playoff numbers in the history of the NFL. He did it with two different teams. He won the NFL MVP and Superbowl MVP... he's as much of a lock as Brett Farve.

Don't forget the highest career completion percentage ever and I believe the two best statistical Super Bowls for a QB. Surefire HoF and one of my favorite players as a Rams fan.

Washington DFFL

Top 3 games in the Superbowl in terms of passing yardage.

Two regular season MVPs.

One Superbowl MVP.

9-4 playoff record.

One of the highest completion percentages ever in both the regular season and playoffs.

Yeah, he had a relatively short career, but if this guy isn't a Hall of Famer, I don't know who is.
