Getting close to a sign-up form ready to go. Should be today.

Any objections to the potential basketball league name being: AFBA

I was going to go with a similar format as the football leagues that started with AFFL and then going alphabetically with the next league CFFL, DFFL, etc. (BFFL will be for bloggers sometime).

In basketball it would go AFBA, BFBA, CFBA, DFBA, etc.

Where we'd always keep the last two letters associated with the sport (NFL => AFFL FL=football league, NBA => AFBA BA = basketball association, MLB => AFLB LB = league baseball, NHL => AFHL HL = hockey league) and start the league name with the sequential letter (A, B, C) followed by a F for FanGM/fanulation (part fantasy, part simulation) league instead of National or Major. If we ever get past 26 leagues for 26 letters we'd go into AAFFL, etc.

Anyway, let me know if you see any problems with that naming convention or suggestions otherwise, although I'd like to remain consistent across the sports and we've already done it one way for football so far. thanks

That might be something we can get into further if a lot of people think differently, but I captured the rosters before the off-season started so that we could replay the whole off-season with free agency and the draft. Wouldn't be too difficult to also do it the other way with rosters now and just re-doing the draft. Typically when that comes up for new football leagues most want to re-do everything as free agency and the draft probably the most interesting thing we do.
