How many practice squad players are allowed during regular season?

Under the franchise tag and LTC sections, I think clicking "submit" gives a breakdown of the offer, and doesn't actually sign the player yet? Am I right? I'm scared to submit. If so, is it possible to change the name of the button to "see offer" or "see details"?

under franchise tags, the dropdown box shows Von Miller average salary at 31 million. The chart shows LBs at 18 million. So if I signed him to a one year franchise tag, what would his salary be? Also, if I signed him 2 a two year franchise tag, is the "50% of salary" 50% of one years salar...
