Re: 2019 DRAFT DATES
I prefer closer to the draft and the first weekend after that is pretty much booked for me so i went with the option closest to the draft. Also don't like people who have anybody who turns on them killed....doesn't bother them to have soldiers killed off, keep highly classified emails on a joke of a...

Re: 2019 DRAFT DATES
Boys you don't have to "get it". You don't have to "understand" why someone voted one way or another. I don't get why a bunch of yas voted for Trump but it was your right. I completely agree, Ritz, for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would have voted for Franken-Hil...

Re: 2020 RULES: Draft Picks
I voted no, this is for fun why start telling teams what trades they can or can't make?
If we going this way might as well say well can't trade your A or A+ players because doesn't happen very much in the NFL....

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
Yeah and there would be nowhere near as many trades irl as there are here either so if we want to make that more realistic then what teams only get 1-2 trades a year. I mean that would only be more realistic. No it wouldn't. Consider the list of trades involving players (ie, not including straight ...

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
Ultimately teams would not sign a player to a long term contract and then trade them. (because out LTCs have significant bonus money attached) Jared's suggestion of no trade for a year if SB over X amount makes sense because a real life GM would not have a job if they signed someone to big guarante...

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
Because it's a different salary to signing bonus ratio. If we can get a similar ratio for free agency then i dont think anyone would have an issue. I think 200% max would be much more realistic. If the aim is truly wanting to reach towards realistic possibilities then a team signing a player to a 1...

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
I get the problem but don't like getting rid of trades all together for 1 year contracts. There are to many things that change after free agency to a roster. You can have injuries, other people on your team step up and become players, people you didn't expect falling to you during the draft and pla...

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
I think it’s unrealistic to make a whole year no trade clause. The NFL does this, lets mimic them. I can totally get behind the 3-6 month NTC but a whole year? That’s just not realistic either! I dont know how 1 year no trade is unrealistic? Perhaps it needs to apply to a certain grade rating and h...

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
I don't fully agree with that. With the proposed.change they sign the big deal and trade it the following year. It doesn't cripple them as much because the SB hit is smaller. And it also allows their draft picks a year to show Like i said i see it both ways but it will hurt teams who come into garb...

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
I agree with that. But the plan should be signing players to build your team so if you are in a rebuild, signing to a two or three year deal wouldnt make sense. So if I can get one top player in FA and a few good players I then need to rely on the draft for the rest. Some of these teams are so bad ...
