Re: Off-Season Rules Discussion - Open Mike
"make FA more realistic" There's nothing realistic about talking to more than 5 FA's in one day. Think logically. How long does it take to convince a player to sign? How many people do you think you can successfully woo in a 24 hour period? 5 might even be a little high. If a GM spread him...

Re: Off-Season Rules Discussion - Open Mike
1. LTC's would become irrelevant because of the inflated contracts.
2. The number of teams tanking for max cap space would double.
3. The FA process would take over a month because team's would intentionally sabotage others with minimal bids.

After another season or two, you'll change your views completely. Limited bid's is and always will be the best way to go.
If anything, I would like to see EFFL have unlimited bids only. That way they see how it will negatively effect the game without ruining the established leagues.

Re: Off-Season Rules Discussion - Open Mike
Bids should never be unlimited no matter how many times its brought up. Unlimited bids is just a bad idea, it makes 0 sense. It would make the contracts of all players unrealistic and it would negate the advantage the previous owner has of retaining their home grown talent. Bad idea. Can we stop su...

Re: 2018 Free Agency Tweaks
I think Jason Witten was the first FA signed and received $900k annual with a $2m SB. Definition of Pro Bowl caliber player may vary, but that is a pretty damn good player at a rate I think he would laugh at considering he just signed a 4 year, $30m deal. Doubt Witten makes it through two seasons l...

Hello to everyone, I'm Vinny and I'm ready to take over my own team! Any opening in any league is just golden pony boy, three straight fantasy championships have my confidence at unsustainable levels but until I crash back to earth, PANTHERS!
