I don't see the issue. Your top 8 defensive players are all included in the grade, and their order, whether starter or backup, doesn't affect the calculation. Is that correct, Troy?

Your best players are being calculated in the grade for front 7. The order does not matter. It's not a depth chart.

I'd reach out to brhlbryce. He runs our BRBL sim league using OOTP. It's a paid league in addition to the cost for the software each year. Houston is currently open.
