In fairness to the guys already in the AFFL and to the guys who deserve a shot to be there that is reasonable. I'd like to see it upped to perhaps 15 or so. 5 wins a year should be attainable IMO

Dislike this 100% this is a game we have fun with, shouldn't lose your team over not winning enough IMHO.

That's why I think it makes sense to limit it to the AFFL. It's the premier league where we want the most competitive teams possible. Plus, we have a wait list of GMs wanting a team in that league.

If someone wants to just have fun without the pressure of possibly losing a team (or experiment with different team building concepts), they can play in one of the other leagues.

I'm with Ben on this one. You should be able to win 10 games in your sleep over three seasons. If you want to tank a season that's fine you have two seasons to make it up. I think if we want to keep AFFL competitive and the best league to play in we need GM's who want to win year in and year out.

I mean look how exciting this season was in The NFC North and the AFC South. Every team was good; every team had a chance to take out a rival; nobody could be taken for granted. I loved watching it; I loved talking about it in my power rankings.

In real life when a team in a division takes on another division opponent based on seeding in their respected divisions, it's due to how they finished in the year prior. Curious about if we absolutely must stick to the original schedule. For instance in the NFL I can already tell you the Jets play Oakland in New York because they both finished 3rd in their divisions. However in our league say DFFL I finished last, so instead of drawing Oakland, I'd actually draw San Diego instead because they finished last, in the same spot where the actual jets play Raiders. Perhaps it is too much tampering, I was just curious.

Yeah I made an attempt at this and it is highly time consuming. I say we just play the actual NFL schedule just to keep things normal. I plan on dropping this topic now :D

Its the league where the GMs have the most experience in FANGM. It was the first and original league.

The other leagues are great too.

However, the way it is done currently, only experienced GM's can get a team in AFFL. That's the only difference.
