Alright, so forget my idea for Sunday. If you still have the draft room up Friday evening (with no clock), and Saturday for 14 hours, 2 rounds is NOT in anyway rushing it.

In fact, only doing one round in 14 hours is at a fricking snails pace.

So we could do one round in something less than 14 hours? Personally, I'm not keen on being there for 14 straight. I know 100% attendance is not necessary because there's the queue and defined pick times etc, but I would guess that rounds one and two are the most active for trading, so being absent would be missing an opportunity.

Sure, but usually its always been open for 10-12 hour days minimum.

Why rush the draft its only may

There is no reason to "rush" the draft, but personally, I prefer we not wait too long. I prefer to draft under similar conditions as the NFL does. If we wait too long, rookie minicamp reports may start coming out about players performing better or worse than expected and who might challenge for starting roles. Its not a big deal, but it could possibly slightly reorder draft boards.

I agree but in order to do it the way the NFL does it we need the draft to be held the same time every yr so people can clear time to be there for the draft.

Why rush the draft its only may

I keep hearing this, but the NFL did one round in 3 hours. All I'm suggesting is doing ours in 8, and then start up the second round.

I'd hardly call that "rushing," but as I said before, I'll adjust to whatever is decided. I just personally feel that the more that is accomplished over the weekend, the higher the percentage of participation.

But I'm beating a dead horse, so I'll just leave it alone.
