When in the hell is cutdown day?

My half-ass google search didn't get any results.

What are we going with on here?

I believe Schefter said roster cuts are coming Saturday.

Both articles reference the cut down date to be by weeks end.

Our cut-down date is the start of the NFL season. Our sim games are delayed as we have to collect the game statistics and probably sim mid-week after an NFL weekend, so that'll give me some time between the first NFL game and our sim games to ensure everyone is at or under their 53 man rosters and under their caps before we sim games for week 1.

Are we going to have a grade update before we have to make cuts?

Unfortunately roster updates for grades (other than the initial ones posted on ESPN but missing many free agents) haven't happened yet. According to an update from their ratings czar, it should be a big update coming but probably not til Friday or probably Saturday.

Update on the Week 1 Roster Update - work completed (over 1300+ moves) and now going thru QA process. Friday is Doubtful, Saturday Probable

Since before free agency here we've gradually had all the team grades on the ESPN link to the initial grades here:
http://espn.go.com/espn/thelife/videoga ... falo-bills

That's all the grade information we have, so anything I'd update would be right from there so if teams have questions about a guy that's the only grade information we have right now until the big Friday/Saturday update from madden.

We'll freeze depth charts before the Sunday games. I'll start contacting teams who are over cap or 53 man rosters to have everyone under before then. Some teams I know are planning on borrowing (up to 3M) against next year, and others may not have planned on that but if over on Sunday will be borrowing to get under.

Some free agents are listed now on the "All Players" tab of the ESPN listing (highest rated FA is Terrell Owens at 85!). I'll see if I can put together a new spreadsheet that incorporates those players as well.
