Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
I like the LTC model of 100% salary and 200% SB or you could go 300% max but who signs a player for a small salary with an insane SB to an elite player then tries to move shortly thereafter? Makes no sense realistically.

Re: 2019 RULES: Sign and Trade
I'm for the 1 year no trade. Plus, if a team signs a player to a 30 mil SB, the team that trades for him already has to eat the salary, why have to eat part of the SB as well, especially if it's something I wouldn't do personally, and why acquire a player, trade him 15 minutes later and eat dead mon...

Re: Free Agency and Draft Dates
I wouldn't mind pushing it back a week if it means getting the teams that need owners filled and let them get acclimated to how things work, plus working out a strategy for what owner wants to do with each team they inherit.

Re: Free Agency and Draft Dates
I wouldn't mind seeing 2 weeks apart start of FA then the NFL draft, that way the big wave of FA should be pretty much done.

Re: 2018 RULES: Free Agency Cracks
We could also sign players to futures contracts as a way to keep the practice squad players like they do in the NFL, wouldn't mind that feature or at least something similar

Re: madden ratings
R Pete, I had that same issue with Zach Orr and it was frustrating as f;;;;k, Madden had him at 74 when all he did was produce 133 tackles, 5 pass defended and more important excelled in both run and pass coverage, he was a legit 3 down backer who played special teams to boot and was headed to the p...

Re: 2017 Season Update
I don't mind our Free Agency taking place later not so much because of time restraints but you get a barometer of what contracts are going for this 2018 season for players who signed. Gives teams time to put a strategy together on who they will attempt to sign and for how much.

Re: Off-Season Rules Discussion
"Teams can't place initial bids on their own players". Think about that for a second. We as GM's should have every right to sign their own players whenever possible. I agree with robroach however about low balling offers to players. I have two in Thomas Davis and Mike Adams, This is Davis'...

Re: madden ratings
I would have to say as well Madden is probably the best option we have. I don't agree with all their ratings but for the most part I have no complaints. I would say really research the player, know their strengths and weaknesses. I remember when I first joined the league where under the rules it gav...

Re: 2017 Season Update
Just wanted to say thank you Troy as well, I know you have a lot going on and juggling things around is trying at times. One quick question, when can LTC's be signed for 2018? Thanks again...Brian
